WOW... not many people remember the ElecTrac..

A guy I knew in the next town over had one. I did use it one day to help him out and that machine was cool. He gave it away to some nut who I hope restored it. Now those are almost as rare as Hen's Teeth.

Surely the mower I “promised” to buy for myself!

I saw an ad once for the General Electric riding mower and that made owning a riding lawn mower AND an electric look so easy—in fact it probably didn’t matter what size property you had, if it held a charge for anything big (or would the cord reach? Maybe I don’t remember that much about it, or read that much to take deeply to heart to this day)...
