I've been looking for this exact model in the chrome shade for a long time and I finally found it on craigslist in Boston. But I'm in Louisiana so I hired a guy to pick it up for me. He happened to be going to Boston just at the right time and he was on a tight schedule so he picked it up before I was able to get more detailed pics from the seller. I figured this would be my only chance and I let my excitement get the better of me. Well, it was delivered today. In pieces! It's dirty as I expected, the oven looks alright except for a crack on the control panel. But the stove top is the issue. The burners are disconnected. Looks like there's a cap missing from one and the other is just a vacant hole. Looking closely at the blurry craigslist photo I can see now that the back left burner does look different. I don't know much about removing a stovetop. Is there a practical reason why the seller would've disassembled it?

Hi John. Those burners slip off for cleaning. They were probably removed for transport. They should slip right back on. The one that looks different is not original as far as I can tell.  The one with a missing cap I would not use without the cap. Sometimes you can find parts on ebay. Can you post more pictures of the stove top and wall oven?

The missing cap

Is the Center Simmer burner, you will HAVE to have it to use that burner, but they can be bought thru any stove restoration shop...

Hi spacepig. I'm in Tangipahoa parish. I got the burners plugged in now. And the missing cap had been screwed into the end of the pipe. The seller has now told me that the odd looking one was a replacement for the old burner with a brain. What would I need to get the burner with a brain working right? Anyone out there have an instruction manual for either of these models? The oven door is off kilter on one side and sits slightly ajar. That happened to the caloric oven I grew up with. We kept it shut with some magnets. The broiler door is hanging off too. I suppose the thermometer shouldn't be hanging down like like that. The main temperature knob and the clock dial are immovable.
