Parts

Is it still possible to get parts for these old Radaranges?

there are some parts available, but it depends on the year.

It's more costly to buy parts than to find a donor unit. Some Amana Radaranges have interchangeable parts(I swapped an inner door frame and touch-pad as they were identical in part numbers, but were different model number radaranges).

5) MIRCOWAVE - AMANA RADAR RANGE - $50 (Saxeville)

Toby,

I've actually started offering parts through my RR website. Used, of course, but serviceable. I've helped quite a few people keep their machines "on the road" when everyone else has told them "junk it"! The reason isn't too surprising, most owners have an emotional attachment to their RR and want to keep it going. Such a relationship doesn't seem to develop with modern junk.

That 4D above in Ely looks like an early one.

OOH-OOH, the RR-8A was my first Radar-range. At the time, about 1978, it had the Cookmatic levels while the Touchmatic only had high and slo-cook.
