About the water level: When it rinse the water level is just under the lower part of the door. Except from when you have the "half load" button pressed or when its 40 celsius and its the first rinse. I guess more water makes the clothes effective rinsed, but the pump makes annoying noises if you wash 2 loads of 40 wash after each other. Its like it gets overworked or something. Usually we wash at 60 celsius and i try to have a full load.
In all honestly i liked the old machine better (Hoover Newwave). I know that the whirlpool we have now, has better results according to our swedish test suite (Konsumentverket) but i have a special spot for Hoover and Mielé machines. And of course old machines from the 60´s-70´s.
Sadly that Hoover Newwave we had, couldnt be repaired. There was so many things wrong with it and we had no spare parts. The people who had installing it had forget to remove 2 of the transit bolts and everyone was confused of why the machine was wandering around when spin. I didnt notice the bolts until i was recycling it.
