What COOL machines!!

I love the "Stampco" it sounds like it should be a jet action machine! And the ads were terrific,now I need to find a town square to hang my laundry too!

That Galamatic twinny looks like its based on the new style 1420 but with the raised emblem of the 1400 first model, I wonder if this one had a powder spin clutch..

The Thor Automagic has an interesting design wobble plate,

"the perforated tub is a liner in a solid tub?" how does this work then, how much clearence would there be between the perforated tub and the liner??

Stampco

The Stampco's bowl design is very similar to the Maytag AMP.

Adverts for the Stampco automatic say it enabled an overflow AND spray rinse.

The Stampco is actually a Fluid Drive, but not the same as the Simpson Beam design.

Very interesting are also the machines from your collection Leon. The wash plate in the Thor Automagic turns only in one direction or is like an Asian pulsator that turns in both directions? Sory for the question but I have never seen a washer like this. Very interesting

Thor automagic

The washplate does not turn in either direction, it wobbles in a circular motion thus creating what Thor described as it's "Surgent washing action"
