update....
thanks kitty.
but i did contact the seller & when they told me they needed to get rid of it quickly, to start construction & remodeling & needed everything cleared out of the way, i knew there was no way that i would be able to make a trip that far on a moments notice. and i let the owner know i wasn't able to go without more time to arrange the trip & find someone to travel with me.
and when todd posted that he would be willing to help me, i emailed the owner who said they had someone else who was interested in the washer & was picking it up the next day. but if the other person didn't show up, they would let me know & wait a week for me to let todd know to pick it up. unfortunately, the other person did show up for the washer. which the owner said was a needy family that really needed a washer.
i emailed the owner back & said i was happy that the washer went to a family that was going to keep using the machine, instead of it being taken to the dump or a recycling center. and that i was glad to know that the washer went to someone who really needed it. so, even though i didn't get it, there is still a happy ending to the machines destiny. and plus, i got to meet another really nice member & make a friend from here, todd!!!
)
so, all's well, that ends well!!!
;o)
