Something new and different.... for me anyway

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Wow, amazing the pic I have almost matches your car. What are the chances.
I like your moms car. And it served her 20 YEARS. Wow. Those were good designs. I think, that was the last year of that design. After that they went with the shorter "T type" if I am not mistaken. Everything from Cadillac to Chevrolet. Yet for some reason it seems they switched to that earlier. Someone would know better than me.

So Jeff, I like your car, your moms car, your neighborhood, the avacodo house with the 12" aluminum siding behind that looks like it was once a ranch and they added a second story, and.. the apparent White Grand Marquis accross the street. I looks like mine. It looks like the type neighborhood I grew up in.

stuff

Mom loved that Buick, and in 20 years managed to put a whole 108,000 miles on it.
I think it just was too big for her, she'll be 84 this coming December.

The house next door was originally a ranch, and the home of "Lady Kenmore" when I was a kid. I was about 5 when the 2nd story was added, and the house was extensively remodeled, including a new kitchen full of Lady Kenmore appliances. Hence the occupant was nicknamed "Lady Kenmore"
She was kinda the Hyacinth Bucket of our street...
The green siding is now gone, the house is now tan if I remember right. I'll be over at my parents house on Sunday, I'll have a look and see...

Yes Steve - Toggs.

"If I were to get a Subaru does that make me, offically, a lesbian?"

Yes, it does. A Lesbian that only likes men.

I can't see you in anything other than a Mazda convertible.

well Ben..

we used to be a Buick family, somewhere along the way my dad changed his mind and bought a Lincoln Town Car, and that was the end of GM cars for us!
I loved those old Buicks, wish they were still around today!!

Jeffrey Darling....I would NEVER tell you what kind of car to buy......I wouldn't tell you NOT to buy something or TO buy something..I would certainly discuss it with you if you would like but YOU work for your money and YOU have to be happy with what you purchase. And YOUR happiness is what is of the UTMOST important to me!!!!! (and you did get a good trade in)

LOVE YOU DEAR!

yes we're gonna go there...

Michael dear, I know you'd never tell me what to do or what to buy, and you also know I'd ask your opinion before doing anything like buying a car...

Other things I would ask about, like clipping chest hair or shaving off the facial hair, that I would ask you about before doing...

YES Toggle.............an F!!!!!!!!

Jeff.....i will always discuss anything with you of course!!
regarding the hair......i wouldn't like it (as you know) BUT>>>>>>>>>it is YOUR hair, it does grow back, and just be EASY with my favorite area!! LOL

Estate Wagons, YES!

A GM staple, don't make fun of my favorites,

Nothing like having a Buick Estate, Caprice Estate, Pontiac Safari, or a Vista Cruiser Wagon with real contact paper on the sides! (each division had a different grain, Pontiac always seemed to have lines in their contact paper)

(PS-do not take near the beach or salt water otherwise you will be investing in contact paper big time!)

Also, if you ever lost anything you could always find it under that third seat that came out of the floor!

You had to love them when they were new, however they did not age gracefully!

LOL
Joe Drewz, you are funny but accurate on that.

So I wonder if I get some wood grain contact paper, lol, and want to reinvent the station wagon look on a smaller scale, perhaps I could put it in strips on my Honda Civic. Tactfully of course. The thing is you have to have a border trim around it. And it would have to be trimmed to fit the contours of the car. Y-Yeah, I could see this.

Speaking of trimming. (clearing throat) Jeff, I think we should consult, perhaps via Email, or I could come down to the Chicago burbs(only a few hours away), and discuss this proposed trimming you wish to dabble in. Better yet thorough Before pictures sent to my Email so I could offer advice, you understand, would be more efficient.
OOopps, key board shorting _ut .. out... from excessive drooling.
I don't know what brought that on.

Nice car Jeff!!

Very nice car Jeff! I have never seen one of those in person but it looks great.

washertalk...............the trimming does NOT need to be discussed. it has already been discussed, no help is needed in that department unless previously authorized........

thank you,

the management LOL

Congratulations Jeff on your new Mercury. I hope you have plenty of fun driving it. Nothing like that new car aroma.

Ross
