The SHARP INSIGHT range
I believe these were introduced somewhere in the the mid 2000’s. SHARP had a big display for them at the Kitchen and Bath Show when we were building our home. That was in 2005.

Wow! Have never seen this one before. The drawer-style microwave is wild.

<span style="font-size: 14pt; color: #008000;">I have the same Sharp Microwave Drawer in my kitchen. I removed a couple of drawers and installed it myself (use at your own risk). While people think it's very cool as it slides in and out electrically it has it's drawbacks. You are very limited as to the height of what you microwave. When you have liquid and the container is filled close to the top, the door speeds up as it closes causing things to spill. The main reason I bought it was because I wanted better lighting for the cooktop than the OTR microwave that came with the house provided.</span>
