Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

very cool

who knew?? I'm going to have to keep an eye out for an Oster beehive blender and then I can change my 55 two-ring pulsator into a three-ring. Wouldn't that be cool? ... an all-black three-ring pulsator.

The Ultimate Lint Chaser

Even if it doesn't chase more lint, it has to be a blast to watch. How 'bout a shot of this new-born water current? And how did this discovery come about?

"Everybody wants one." ( a famous song, forgot whose )

Smart and Dumb

Sorry I missed all the fun, I was watching "Awake" to which I am addicted, and not just because the guy is gorgeous. But I knew the giant Lint chaser was too gigantic immediately, but I have no idea how or where it is in the Osterizer--gotta be inside, right. Or what you were doing inside the blender. ;->

Since vintage blenders are so abundant and cheap here at the estate sales, Fred turns some of them into adorable lamps. But in order to turn one into a lamp it needs to have its guts removed, including the lint chaser rings.

So, for those of us who are going to start pillaging Oster blenders - does this apply to most vintage beehive's, or does it also possibly apply to some of the square base models as well? I have a few spares of both around...

I have absolutely no idea Ben. I can't even say that this was in all the beehive blenders, it might have been just a TOL feature.

Wow.....I love how we think outside the box and come up with solutions to problems like this.....excellent!

but funny you mention about Oster blenders.....I just got another one, like I need it, at a thrift store today....and under the Sunbeam nametag, powerful unit!

How fun and enlightening. Who woulda thunk? Thanks, Robert

Next, you'll be snatching up Fred's pretty lamps to light up the WO-65's with their new blender

parts.

Haaay

That's the blender on my kitchen counter. It was my Grandmothers. Made a tarragon honey mustard vinaigrette salad dressing for Easter with it.

This thread's getting off track.

Holy Feces

Wrote that post before bike ride and forgot to put it up.

Came home to find it on the screen and clicked "POST" not knowing the the Steroidal Lint Chaser was here flexing. This is a real treat.

I have to have one. Who could I pillage tonight? I 'll trade you one SLC for my whole stash of Doctrines.

HOW FABULOUS IS THAT SHOT.

One of the currents is reaching right up and over to the outer tub. Oscar nominee for sure.

cute and creative.

Those would be equally attractive, and whimsical, as exterior fixtures.  And sturdy.

If one had those cement pillars I could see them as fixtures.
