Hi folks.

I've managed to get my Frogeye Kenmore to work reasonably well. I replaced the motor, the water supply solenoids, the pump and the cord with ones from my recent scavenged whirly belt drive.

Everything works, for the most part, which pleases me tremendously. I plan to replace the seal on the original pump, and rebuild the solenoids at some point, but for now the plastic parts work just fine.

One thing I'm having trouble with is the timer. It makes its little mechanical timer noise, but never advances. Kinda takes the wind out of the whole "Automatic" aspect of the thing.

I can't seem to find a replacement on repairclinic, mostly because that site refuses to believe my model number is a real one. The markings on the timer are just like the ones on Roberts 1957 Lady K, save for the suds return.

Does anyone have any advice where a guy might get a replacement timer? I am getting this sinking feeling I am going to have to send it out to someplace and pay big money to get it repaired.

Thanks!

Repairclinic might still be able to help

Don't give up on Repairclinic - they have a link to email a request to them with parts requests for items over 25 years old. I have a request in with them for some GE pull-out dishwasher parts and they haven't blown me off yet...
