There have been many threads about the "educational" films foisted on the youth of the nation in classrooms coast to coast. Unfortunately I graduated high school in 2001, so mostly I got to sit through crappy tapes from the '80s. (Melissa Sue Anderson says wear your seatbelt!) However, there was one classic: The 1974 epic "A Baby is Born." Does this title ring a bell with anybody? All I can say is, it's amazing anyone would voluntarily have children after seeing it.

a Baby is Born......

I was a geek projectionist during one of those films. The teacher stepped out as the baby crowned and emerged, just for fun I ran the projector backwards and sent the kid back to its place of origin. Then I replayed the film in slow-motion.

If that wasn't the most effective psychological family-planning available, I don't know what was.

*LOL*
