This is not a new revelation, nor is the fact that he lived with a couple of gay friends during one of his matrimonial situations. You can be sure his enemies spread it during the primary season.

Very, very sadly for our country, we are losing the informed electorate that any democracy needs to thrive. I am amazed at the difference in the scope and depth of the news stories between papers here in the East like the Washington Post and New York Times and papers in other parts of the nation. But of course, these 2 papers are branded as too liberal by the (FOX) media so people are not interested in the stories they cover. So much of the media is in fewer and fewer hands and many of the owners are more on the side of the political and religious right so a lot of stories do not get reported to much of the nation. I am amazed at how much news of congressional goings on is not reported outside of the Washington area, just the short slanted sound bite on the news. If people have short attention spans, the media is doing nothing to improve them. Maybe this story is one of those, although it would have been in the NYT.

Well, apparently this is an ill-kept secret amongst New Yorkers - most of my friends up there to whom I sent the email seem to already know about it. But it's certainly been kept out of the mainstream news for the rest of the world.

It is just a good thing that he's now nothing but a footnote in terms of the White House. But just imagine if history had run a little differently.

(Mind you, I have absolutely nothing against transvestites. "Some of my best friends" etc etc -- it's the bald-faced hypocrisy in the instant case that gets me.)

No, no TV fetish here. It was just a jaw-dropping moment when I discovered that ultra-conservative Giuliani (albeit a multiple-divorcee) was apparently a cross-dresser.

A cross-dresser?? One photo was from a Saturday Night Live appearance. Big f'in deal. OOOOHHHH he's in a dress on tv. I've never seen anyone do that before. Geesh. Oh, and Bill Maher shouldn't throw stones.
