does anyone remember the special eastenders episode with lots of laundry misshaps broadcast about year 2000?

Yeh i do....Asif and Martin i believe sold some dodgy machines...Terry and Irene had the Ariston which flooded suds all over the floor....Ian and Laura had the Indesit which burnt out...and Mels Dad had the Hotpoint which went nuts.....LOL, not that i remember or anything, lol. Always laughable how the residents of the Vic do their washing at the Laundrette even though they have a Hoover washing machine at home, and Tanya has a Hotpoint/Ariston integrated machine yet she keeps popping up at the laundrette too....though judging by their build quality, it's no surprise.

whee is the hoover washing machine in the vic?
and where is the hotpoint interegated washer in tnayas place, seen dishwasher? never seen the washers. shirley has a brown 95series hotpoint i think.

The washer in The Vis is at the ends of the kitchen next to the cooker, you sometimes catch a glimpse of it if the angle is right, but there was one scene where Sharon (back in the day) was using it. In the 80's The Vic had a Hotpoint, which i don't think was ever seen but it was heard on a spin cycle...unmistakable 80s Hotpoint spin cycle.

Tanyas washer is hidden in a cupboard by the backdoor...mentioned and seen only once which was when it broke down briefly.

Shirley's flat had a little bit of a makeover, and, in true E/Enders style, the washing machine was taken away and is no longer there....lol.

Nothing like machine spotting in soaps/tv shows, lol....i'm sad i know....
