I'm looking for a back-up washer.

Someone is selling his/her Speed Queen AWN432 for only $150. Photos show a clean washer inside and out without any apparent damage. The stated reason is that his/her new place already has a washer. I find it hard to believe that someone would sell his/her Speed Queen, if it's working okay, instead of keeping it and selling the other washer. Thoughts? Thanks

if its in great shape inside and out.....and only 150.00.....

and it runs without issues.....why do you care why they are selling it?....

while your procrastinating, someone else has grabbed a fantastic deal on a machine...

too many times we sell machines on CL, while you have the ones who play email tag with a thousand questions, someone with cash is on their way to pick it up....

bottom line, money talks!

Thanks.

You might be right about the seller being ignorant about SQ quality. I was concerned, because I don't want to waste my time checking out something that's going to need major repairs that the seller didn't disclose.

Is it reasonable when buying used to do a test load?

Add water

Before spin. Otherwise the pump could get damaged.

Pounce on it before someone else gets a washer that they might not even fully appreciate (ie, landlord for his hard living tenants)
