So I got this awesome washer today for free but my luck seemed to change once I picked it up…. The lid pivots were apparently loose and while driving home the back of the lid popped loose and the lid was lost, but not before hitting my newly acquired Whirlpool Imperial washer 🤬. Damage was at least minimal but still annoying. I am now in need of the lid pictured here along with the pivots and anything else normally attached to the lid. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

learn by your mistakes

Just for future reference.....make sure that anytime you are transporting machines in the back of a vehicle make sure you secure the lid down so that it stays closed and with the machine until you get it home.

All it takes is one bad bounce coming down the road and letting the wind get ahold of it.

Broken lid pivot

If I had realized that the lid pivot was broken I would have just removed the lid instead of taping it closed. I don’t normally expect the lid connection to the cabinet to fail and I also assumed speed queen would have used metal pivots, not those cheap plastic ones that it had. I should have noticed the bad pivot but I was in a rush and that’s what happens when you hurry.
