Speed Queen - pink - year unknown -

I am writing a memoir piece and am looking for an image of a pink 'Speed Queen' top loading washing machine... Can anyone help with the year these were made and an image?

Old magazines

I suggest you visit a large city library that has old copies of magazines such as BH&G, American Home, House & Garden, etc., between the years of 1956 and 1962. Usually these are available at the main location only. I know the downtown Cincinnati library has these. I would imagine the LA and SF libraries would too.

Never saw one in pink. Saw turquoise ones in launderettes, what a dark sight; only thing harder on the eyes was a line of avocado ones. A very former, long ago friend's father had a Mary Maytag coin laundry with pink Maytags. You have heard "Nellie as pink ink"? Well a store full of pink Highlnders runs a damn close second.

There is a laundromat in Rome, NY called "Pinky White". Back in the day, they had alternating pink and white machines in a row.
