With my SQ washer the wash basket did index when we first got it. Now the wash basket doesn't index unless the load is heavy like jeans or towels then it might index some. Timborow have you raised the water level on your machine? I had to raise mine since it was way too low for my loads. I like the wash to move freely.

I guess I am worrying for no reason. The machine works great. I just wondered if it should work like those in the videos. Maybe the machine in the video was just made differently since it was 2009 machine.

Motor In

Got a voice mail from the service company this afternoon. My dryer motor is in stock. Should be installed early next week.

Well, motor was replaced and all is well again.

The topload will stop indexing...eventually depending on use - the one at the condo (used rarely) took nearly a year!
