I'm happy to say that (largely owning to the help we got here, and parts from Eugene) the Speed Queen timer is still chugging along perfectly. May be the only one with old 'dogs' on earth. Now that I have a brass replacement for them, they'll never fail.
But, what appears to be the original drive belts are failing. I'm afraid to touch the pump, noisy as it may be, so I'm glad to say it's not dragging on them.
Here's what's on the belts:
Speed queen 20186 DE
Speed queen 20185 DF
Speed Queen 20185 dunkee atwood 4l280 ID
I'm guessing somebody here knows where to get new? I'd appreciate any input!
Thanks!
(As somebody will not have followed the summer drama, the model number won't help, it was a special model and there are zero references to it on any parts site. These will be the same belts as all solenoid units from '69 and that era used.)
