Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

Got 'Em!

Apparently they came out of a sorority house. Having a university nearby helps.

And after failing to get them off of the trailer and into my house alone without risking tearing myself or them up, I've decided to ask for help. This is a big deal. I have issues with asking for help. About four years ago, I unloaded a stacked W/D and a side by side fridge off of a truck by myself. I'm glad I'm on better medication now. :-)

Cycle Speeds AND WATER LEVELS

FYI
REG-FAST AGITATION AND SPIN
PERM.PRESS-FAST AGITATION AND SLOW SPIN
DELICATE-SLOW AGITAION AND SPIN
HAND WASH- INTERMITTENT SLOW AGITATION, AND SLOW SPIN
You can raise the waterlevel permantely on this machine...check it out on YOUTUBE or some of the members can show you how, there have been threads on this topic before.

Age

Depending on the age of this washing machine, raising the water level may not be necessary.

Looking good! Im going to be ordering the FL'er and I know I will be looking forward to doing more wash (did I actually say that?). Enjoy!

Water level?

Malcolm, I think you're right. It fills the tub up to the second row of holes in the drum.

Mike, thanks for the cycle break down, I'll post it by the washer.

Frontloaderfan, I'll need some instructions for defeating the lid switch before I can post a vid. It's not tour average poke a screwdriver in the hole variety. It appears to be under the back of the lid. I haven't messed with it yet.

Thanks for all,
Sarah

I am so happy for you.....you go gurl!......LOL

heres a pic of defeating the lid switch.....on the rear, just above the drain hose, the exposed overhang....a simple clothes pin is all you need.....

some even use a bungee cord, one hook up over the tab, and the other stretched down to under the cabinet....

even a piece of cardboard folded a few times can work.......just as long as that tab is pulled down, you are good to go

hope this helps
