Greetings everyone!
I have a 5 year old SQ AWN542 washer which works great. Problem is that sometimes the timer knob just spins around when selecting the wash cycle. I have to turn it slowly so it "catches" and then makes that traditional grinding sound when selecting the cycle. Is this indicative of a failing Timer? The part number looks to be 37922P Timer which sells for about $150. Would I be correct in that diagnosis? Any help is greatly appreciated!
