HI!
I noticed that the water velocity coming from the flume is weak. Yes; spigots are on all the way, No kinks in hoses. Might there be some kind of blockage inside the flume?

Check the for sediment collected on the screens at the inlet valve ports, and at the faucet ends of the hoses (if screens are also there).

Found that temperature fluctuations can cause all kinds of deposits to loosen from pipes.

I'm currently back home in Bavaria where we have terribly hard water (something like 36.5 grains per gallon).

All 3 toilets in the house had issues over the past weekend.

Article just kept filling, 1st floor didn't fill at all, ground floor kept running after flushing.

All had grainy residue in them.

We had something like a 60F swing over the past 2 weeks.

So check hoses on both ends, check the taps with the hoses removed, check the inlet valve screens.

Usually no biggie.

Agreed w/ above post on removing the fill hoses (especially cold) and examining the inlet screens for blockage.

I recently troubleshot a model AWN412 with a "bad timer, stops at rinse cycle" that had a blocked cold inlet, rust from the plumbing. Hot fill screen was fine as the water heater catches all the rust upstream.

Diagnosis was simple: start wash cycle on HOT, good fill flow, move temp to COLD, no fill flow. Rinse is all cold on this model, so after spin cycle it just sat there waiting for the water level switch to close...which it never did as no cold water was flowing.

Easy fix to remove and clean the fill valve, only parts needed were new fill hoses as the old ones were rubber and way > 5 year old safety window. Told the guy to have a plumber add a cartridge filter on the main supply line and buy plenty of cartridge kits, and have the hot water heater flushed afterward.

IS there a fill valve that will allow more water in? And will it cause the flume to leak? I've noticed Queens tend to let less water in than say Whirlpools and Filter Flos.

Having the same issue with mine. Brand new hoses, brand new filter screens. Still, water trickles in much more slowly than the GE it replaced.

I'm having the same issue.. Hot fills at a fast trickle, warm has decent flow and cold just dribbles in. Screens are clean. Seems to be slowly getting worse.
