Modern Spin Dryers
Are too fast for effective "spin" rinsing IMHO as the water most likely would bounce right off the wash and otherwise go right down the drain.
Unless designed for rinsing there is also the chance you can shag out the motor by repeatedly spinning heavy wet laundry.
OTHO you can swish wash around in a deep container (sink, wash tub, tub, etc..) of clean water then place into the spin dryer, or rinse in a front loader without interim spin cycles, then bung into the SD. Will often do one or the other for loads that one knows will not balance well enough to spin in the Miele.
