Spin issue with Kenmore Portable

I gave my friend a Harvest Gold Kenmore Portable set a little over a year ago. Now it fills, agitates but won't spin. I think it might be a belt. Need some help fixing it. Can I still order replacement belts for it from Sears or what do you guys recommend? All advice is welcome.

If You Need Belts

Listed some one has spare in the "auction" forum. Sold my HG WP portable on and the supplies are now surplus to requirements.

A vintage belt-drive portable has only one belt, so the belt likely isn't implicated if it does agitate OK.  Check the lid switch and spin shift solenoid (wig-wag).

Update

It agitates with clothes but will not spin with clothes in it. It will spin empty.
