Thought I'd post another picture form the Early Television Foundation Convention. This was at the dinner. I got to eat with Stan Lebar, now who may you as is Stan Lebar. Well stan was the head of the team at Westinghouse who created the camera that was used on the Apollo-Syklab missions! He was the guest of honor at the convention, and at the dinner after the presentations he sat at my table, a fery gracious and enjoyable person, and him and his lovely wife are both as sharp as tacks even though they are well into there 80's.
I even got his autograph on a "I Was Televised" card form the 1939 worlds fair.
Heading to Timberfell Lodge in Tennessee for Sunday for Memorial Day weekend and Camp Bear in June at Timberfell. So there will be "bears" in the woods for sure ;-)
Joe, I'm completely jealous. I wish we had a place like Timberfell around here. We lost our mixed crowd clothing optional beach campground here last year to the Coastal Conservancy. Even the Russian River area doesn't have anything similar to offer us men. We'd be regulars at a place like Timberfell for sure.
