I scored a pristine Speed Queen commercial stack set a few weeks ago, model LTEE5ASP175W01. There's a clear vinyl tube coming from the far left connection on the soap dispenser, running up into the back of the control section. It was obviously hooked to something, there's a mark where it was shoved onto a hose barb. Whatever that was is missing. The SQ Tech Support dude thought it might be for the water level sensor at first, but I confirmed that's present and connected per the manuals. He drew a blank after that... Help?IMG_2837.jpg

That tube was used for part of an automatic dispensing system that was added to the machine, it’s not a Speed Queen accessory in all likelihood.

You can see there’s also some crimp wire connectors in that area. Those are not factory connections.

Is the metal plate that covers that area still with the machine, the metal plate would have mount mounting areas where the dispenser valves were located.

Since the systems are usually aftermarket, the Speed Queen tech may not have any knowledge about them.

Aha... that would also explain why the cover panel was missing when I bought it, that was where the dosing valves and/or pump were mounted. They just kept the whole assembly. I was told that the machine worked, but the previous owner didn't like that it jutted out of the alcove it was installed in, so they replaced it. I ran a spin cycle before I committed, and the bearings are quiet, he said the dryer may not heat correctly, but unless it's the control board or the actual heater, it'll be a cheap fix. Thanks, John!
