Late 60s early 70s Speed Queen electric dryer

These things were built like tanks, they were fairly slow in operation, the biggest weak spot was the blower bearing.
Interestingly, they use the same blower wheel as the whirlpool belt driven blowers in the early 60s dryers.

Thanks for posting always interesting to see these machines still turning up

I believe the blower wheel is made out of Bakelite.
