SQ FL Automatic Control Water Level Hack

Hello.
New to this forum, but have been lurking while trying to buy my firt washer in 20 years.

Well, I sure would like one of those electric contolled SQ FL if someone has figured out how to increase the water level to what I feel comfortable with( edge of the window). Not saying it's right or wrong just want to see some sloshing. LOL.
I guess if I knew what I was doing I would haul in one of the SC27s; but way over my head.
If SQ wanted to hire a few more Cheeseheads they would listen carefully to you; make one cycle for the energy correct nazis and the rest adjustable wash temp, rinse temps, 2 pressure sensors, separate drain pump, internal heater, bullet proof. ( Anybody know one of these?)

I don't want to hose you...

but, start thinking about what is going on inside that tube that works the transducer.

 

A different diameter and a different length might just make a difference...reckon'?

Professional Series

I had wondered why there wasn't a PROFESSIONAL SERIES pair that offered operator programmability similar to the Electrolux machines. Perhaps th domestic marketplace is still too small to warrant the technology investment. Maybe that will change in the future.

welcome to AW. Most topics have been discussed so its a good idea to use the superseachalator when you have specific questions.A lot of members post how they work on machines this makes a strong database for searching. This was talked about by me in 2011 and 2012- when a thread falls off the bottom of the  board it is stored in the database and can be refound using the supersearchalator.

I have no idea of Speed Queen Front Loads...

 

But Circa 2009, many of the manufacturers went away from the adjustable transducer, and went to an all electronic model...

 

Hence, no screws to screw with anymore.

 

Also, you are battling flowmeters on the inlet side of the fill...

but as in the thread of the RCA overflowing a few days back, one of you guys stated...

"be careful of the hose, length..."; so any of the newer ones...you have to find another way to skin the kitty Kat!

Jetcone: thank you I had already looked at this link; it is for the manual machine I believe ANF50.
I was looking to hack the electronically controlled one, perhaps by getting into the motherboards"repair mode" without having to play with any mechanical parts if that makes any sense.
LaVdaBoemn has the right idea.
They are new(the electronic ones) so maybe it is a matter of time.(i hope)
For your information, some of the electronically controlled ones still have a hackable pressure sensor; I saw a guy adjusting one on UTube( I think it was a FL anyway)Probably pre2009 as LVB says.
Maybe I will just get the manual one and hack away.:>)

I did not know they went to an all electronic water level sensor!I wonder how that works now.
