What would you recommend for a stacked FL for a second floor installation? I've heard that most FL's are prone to vibration and noise problems when they aren't on a concrete surface. My current list is Miele (1205 washer, matching dryer), Speed Queen (CTS99 stacked unit) and Maytag 2000 stacked set. Obviously, I'm leery of the Maytag, but the large and accessible washer door opening is so much easier to use than the small and low openings on the Miele and SQ.

Any experiences to share would be appreciated.

I like Frgidaires.

I believe the Frigidaire dryer drum is avaialble in Stainless Steed when purhcased from Sears...at least it was when I bought mine before the latest dryer.

They may vibrate on non-concrete floors; but for the speed at which the washer spins out, i'd say it is VERY well balanced and vibration is minimal.
