Here is a pic of the tablecloth. I hung it to dry and now the spot is totally gone. THANKS! You can see the swastika on the border.

What a beautiful card table cloth. The swastika here is a good luck symbol along with the wishbone,4 leaf clover and the horse shoe. Up until the 1920's this always meant good luck. I am surprised that the club and the spade are not black but the design flowers are. More than likely the person who did this just wanted a good contrasting color.
 
The tablecloth is not embroidered, it's just print. Which had me thinking about the swastika, since it had to have been made more recently than the 20's.

It's so cute though-perfect for a game of Hearts or Rummy (my favorite games!).
