Steam Cleaner

Just wondering in anyone out there uses a steam cleaner? I have a EuroPro that just died, and am kind of lost without it. I used it to clean around the bathroom and toilet, and to steam clean my tile floor(guess that is how they clean in Europe). It is nice to just be able to use tap water to clean.
You can alo achieve the same results with the microfiber cloths. Cleaning the soap scum off the shower doors with just plain water is effortless.

Cleaning gurus......your thoughts on the above items.......

We had a steamer once

it was relatively low powered. It worked great for getting the dried nose prints of the dogs off the windows very easily. And also for dried drips on the cooktop.
I think the best ones are the ones that have the tank on the floor. Ours was one of those self contained jobs that had a very small water reservoir. It worked for about a year, then it stopped steaming.

I have the one that looks like a little canister vac with a hose and all sorts of attachments for doing the floor and gun nozzles etc. Actually I quite like it, works very well for cleaning schmutz in tight spots like when stuff has dripped in the fridge crevices. I didn't care for doing floors with it though.. I like my Swiffer Wet Jet for that. I believe it's a Euro Pro.. I lent it to a good friend of mine last summer for her to clean all her birdcages with and she hasn't returned it yet.. LOL

Mine also was a Euro Pro(purchased from HSN in 2003). Seems to steam with the attachemnts, but when the hose is put on, will not steam. Called Euro Pro on Saturday and they told me to ship it back to them in NY and they would repair it and send it back to me(can't beat that). They told me just to ship it back to them insured. In the meantime, I ordered another from QVC...the TSV...that is like a canister vac with 1600W of steam power. Hope this one works great too. Steam cleaning the bathroom and floors just gets so much stuff out that you cannot get out any other way.
