I want the whole washerthough my '89 MW Franklin is probably decently close to a 77-83... BTW have you watched that ~1982 Kelvinator sales video on Youtube?-it is a blast I have not seen a pre-1990 Franklin machine in a while-and I am kinda looking...You are looking for the blue version especially right?
Here is the agitator in my Wards apartment-size washer. Not sure of year but most likely late 70s-early 80s. I believe WCI is the manufacturer of this machine. (And I also have a ‘85 Whirlpool washer with the “double-duty” winged agitator).
Sorry guys, my dream would be to have the TURQUOISE 10 Vane but, if I found a white one that would be cool as well.
Yes I have seen the 80's Kelvinator washer video cfz2882...AWESOME!!! LOVE IT!!! As you can see even with the over-stuffed load the low vanes of the 10-Vane was still pulling the clothes down into the tub... with the indexing turn. So imagine the turnover with a stationary tub. I think I may have a pic of your '89 agitator cfz2882.
The Wards agitator was appealing, I'm not sure if the wash action was effective because the agitator wings took up a lot of upper tub space.
The late 60's to early 70's 10 Vane agitator turnover was pretty weak because the agitator base and the lower vanes were way too small!!!
A few manufactures did bradfordwhite
Well the search is over. I needed confirmed whether the Kelvinator angel wing agitator would be able to fit properly into the washtub I was going to use for my dream machine redesign...and not be too tall...with overwhelming great sadness,
I learned from a compatible substitute, it's 3 1/2" too tall for the tub...so I can't use it...
I was fearing this agitator ideal had taken flight and was too heavenly an idea for a mortal to pursue. But the harps of washer heaven are anxiously plucking away until the day your perfect agitator descends on you.
Wish I could just waive a magic wand to make it happen.
