Well, since there is a new stove in the kitchen, and a row of cabinets in the laundry room where the big Norge was.." Never fear, its in storage!" I decided to put my OKandM on the other wall in the laundry, how can ANYONE cook with just one stove LOL! Here tis, 1952 O Keefe and Merrit Hi-Vue.

I have a newer, higher fashion model from 1953 here in pink. It was next door at an auction. Pete was trying to show off and thought I'd outbid him so, I waited until the bids went up to over $600 and stopped while he was the high bidder just to be not quite as mean as him.Had he stayed home, I had already placed an absence bid of $250 and he was the only other bidder. So, it is just sitting here in the laundry area with no one else interested in it but me.The only way I would send the needy parts that are in need of restoration is if he'd let me have it. But, being the negative, bitter, hateful soul he is, I don't see anything happening to this fabulous range ( all it needs is a face lift. The chrome, the door handles, the shelf and all the interior racks and accessories need to be re chromed and the door trim as well). Two ovens, one with a triple rotisery, 5 burners, one with a griddle, one that's thermostatic,an automatic oven start time stop time setting similar to the old Frigidaire and GE electric ranges from that era,and a fold down shelf that has two purposes. one is to place plates, spices and the like on top or close it to make it a back splash to keep grease from splattering onto the rear controls. It was manufactured in 1953 and was well kept.I like it almost as much as the old Chambers models.
