Your design is beautiful Todd.. My wife is a quilter. I do the figuring of fabric and cutting for her. She does the sewing and quilting. She does both hand quilting and long arm quilting. Right now she is doing a applicae of a dresden plate her grandmother started about 60 years ago. Keep up the good work!!!! Dano

Todd, that's an incredible looking quilt. Something you both should be very proud of. And even more tiping of the hat because it ws your first one done together!!

I'm 5'8" and 194 and I think that's beautiful!!! No oww as far as I'm concerned. so there!!!! neehh!!!

Thank you all for your kind words!!! We really do enjoy sewing together. I've been sewing most of my life. Taught by my dad. I've had the pleasure of teaching Jerry, my partner of 15 years. Each year, for the last 5, we go to Sauder Village in Archbald, OH, home of the cheap, pressboard furniture for a mystery quilt weekend(the two of us and 60-75 women) and put together a quilt top that we have no idea what the design is. This one happened to work beyond our wildest dreams.
I love these threads, your a great bunch of people! Good looking too!

Todd, that quilt is just beautiful! Does that pattern have a name? That must have taken a long time to do. I have always wanted to learn how to quilt but I guess it would be a good idea to learn how to sew first. Terry

Andy:

Very cool store design.
With all the people installing tile in their homes, it's nice that you have an example in your store where potential customers can try out all types of cleaning surfaces in your store. Most of the vac stores in my area are totally carpeted.
In fact, the local Miele dealer always brings his dogs (a lab and a collie) to the store. They provide the hair for the vacs to suck up while demonstrating this to the customers! Plus, they are very friendly animals!

Thanks Allen. People love the tile, and slate is real big in our area now. If you look closely at the carpet, there are three different styles. The biggest portion is the gray plush, then there's a short level loop and frieze at the end. I wanted to put in relatively big sections so that customers can get a good idea of what it feels like to use a particular machine on their carpet at home.

Great pictures you guys, keep 'em coming.

Andy the store redesign looks great so far, I can't wait to see the pictures of it all finished!
