Argh lost a big beautiful post!
New short version.
I just bought this, and it works great, but it needs new door gasket/ seal material.
What do you guys recomend?

There are universal gaskets

available at various suppliers. My guess is that this was a gasket from one such supplier - and that's where I would start.

Interesting looking device!
