Kelly,
I just recently purchased (2) Fire King clear glass mixing bowls for my Sunbeam Model 11 Chrome mixer. I noticed that the bowls are very cloudy. I tried to clean them with Bar Keepers Friend, Soft Scrub, Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and the cloudiness remains. Not sure if there is anything that can be done or if this is an problem with the glass. Just wondered if you have ever encountered this problem. I also tried to clean with vinegar and this didn't help either. I also just recently purchased a Sunbeam Euro mixer that I think came out in the late 70's or early 80's. It came with dough hooks and not beaters. The dough hook ends that fit into the mixer look very different then the beater ends for the Model 10, 11 or 12 or even the MMB models. Are these beaters hard to find. Not sure how popular the Sunbeam Euro mixer was.
Thanks, Bob.

Sunbeam Model 01401 Mixer

I am missing the beaters to my Sunbeam Model 01401 mixer. I would like to purchase a set if anyone has a spare extra set of beaters. Here is a picture of a Sunbeam Model 01401 mixer like the one I own.
Thanks, Bob.

Bob, I have a set of beaters for the newer Mixmaster (I have LOTS of Sunbeam parts and bowls). They are yours for the cost of shipping - please send me your zip code and I'll figure out how much that will be. I'll be off-line until Sunday, though, but I will get back to you.

Old Sunbeam Repairs

I have a model 9, that I had inherited from an elderly friend of the family's. For some odd reason it will no longer accept the bowl drive beater, (left) at all. When I first received it, it was already difficult, and now is impossible to insert. I would like to find someone who is willing to work on these old gems. Any takers?
I also have my grandmothers old model G Hamilton Beach Mixer, that needs a new cord and new brushes. I myself do not have the know how, to work with lots of small parts, and would like some info as to who can! Any info would be appreciated.
Hugs,
David

If They'll Work -

And I see no reason why they should not - get yourself a set of stainless Mixmaster bowls if you want carefree living.

They can't break, they don't get dull and cloudy in the dishwasher and they chill quickly for jobs like whipping cream.

If you get to thinking this might be a good idea, check with our resident Mixmaster expert, Kelly, to be absolutely certain they'll fit your machine.

P.S.: That cloudiness is a characteristic of soda-lime glass that has been around alkali, which dishwasher detergent is full of.
