Sunbeam Touch-n-Go

Does anyone know a lot about these?

I knew Sunbeam made canister vacuums, but I had no idea they made uprights as well.

This one that I found almost looks like a toy. It's pretty cute.

Thats late 50's

Sunbeam made their own canisters and brooms... their uprights were made by Singer.
This one is way rare, have not seen too many of these!

Wow! This is wild--I've only seen this on the back of my mom's Sunbeam mixer manual, and really, since it wasn't shown to-scale with the other items, I guess I always thought it was a hairclipper with an adjusting knob on the front or something. I used to wonder why they showed it in the same box as floorcare appliances. Now seeing it on a dining table, I can see it for what it is, and EVERYTHING makes sense. Yet another neuron can rest!

i have one of these!!!

My friend Ben is a plumber who lives in Banning and over the years he's collected a few vacuums for me from his customers. He was installing a new water heater in a customers garage when he spotted a Kirby Generation 3 and asked if they did not want it could he have it and most often than not the customer gives Ben the vacuum just to get it out of the way. So goes the story of the Sunbeam Touch n Go. I'm at Ben's yard sale and i find it in the garage hidden from everyone and he says that he's been saving it for me! Little ol me! ( No comments from you Greg!) So Morgan, if you are reading this, this is the vacuum i am looking for bags for. It looks just like this. It really does look like a toy doesn't it?

I am reading this and will be on the look out for you... does that bag say Sunbeam Type T.

Can you tell me is it similar in style to an F&G bag or does it connect at the top by snapping into place?

In the auction, one of the pictures shows the bag. It looks like it says T on it.

Morgan, the vacuum i got did not have a bag in it BUT it does connect on the bottom of all places by snapping in. The other Sunbeam brooms have the F&G style bags.
