Spider Clutch
This machine has that famous spider clutch. The noises this machine makes is really interesting. It has a pump much like the Speed Queens and makes the same sounds that I really can't describe. (You'll just have to hear it for yourselves at the wash-in ..... as soon as the house is finished) The lighted buttons just light up clear without color. I don't know if they had different colors for the various water temps or not. If they did, I'll figure out a way to get them back to their original color. Since this machine is all porcelain, it cleaned up beautifully. The control panel needs a good going over and perhaps re-chroming. There is a warning sticker still on the machine about moving the machine and using the control panel for leveredge. Since in rechroming I would lose the sticker, I'm going to have to think about this one. The agitator is the original red agitator with the points on the ends of the paddles. Of course, the points are long gone but the agitation is still really good. Even with a full load of shop towels, we got really good rollover. Mark
