I made Dave a ham sandwich, then headed downtown to the museum of art with a friend.

My excitement happened before the game when the Blue Angels zoomed a few hundred feet over our backyard trailing white smoke while Gaga was still singing the SSB a few miles away (TV editing made it appear they flew over the stadium after she finished).  I was out there ready and waiting for them.  Very impressive!  I think I may want to head up to Fleet Week in October to see them perform.

I have no interest in following anything sports beyond high school, where they play for the victory. College it gets into fighting for scholarships and recruit the best. Pro's are a bunch of crying babies that their millions are not enough. First Super Bowl tickets were 10 bucks, compare that to now. We got slow roasted ribs, my special potato salad and rolls that maybe should go in the oven soon. Got music channels on now and everything is good..

Just got in from work about an hour ago, Chinese take out and no super bowl here. I'm perfectly happy! Work was nuts last night, and into tonight until about 6, then the store was like a ghost town!

Making home made deep dish pizzas--one with pepperoni, hamburger, and sausage with mozzzerella, parmesean, and sharp cheddar cheese.  The other is mushroom peppers, and onions with gouda, mozzarella, and parmesean.  All with whole wheat crusts home made; queso dip and tortilla chips and for dessert whole wheat devils food cake with buttercream frosting.

"Panthers or Broncos?"--I replied "Cheerleaders!

I don't understand how I managed to get the day off from work, when I never asked for, nor has anyone wanted me to swap days so he/she could get me to work for him/her...

'Cause I sure didn't do any TV watching--let alone had the Super BowlTM on--today, just went out shopping...

I Washed the Toilet Bowl...!

I celebrated the day by replacing the fill and flush valves in one of ours! A fitting tribute to my opinion as far as pro sports goes!

I watched very little Moneybowl:

There I called it what it is!
As far as dinner it was a balmy 41 degrees in the Twin Cities yesterday so I smoked a couple of racks of baby back ribs. Then finished them in the oven with a bottle of Sam Adams beer and finally under the broiler with my homemade BBQ sauce. Served with Homemade 5 cheese Au-Gratin potatoes, baked beans and homemade caramel bars.

While I did go to a Super Bowl party yesterday, I'd just as soon stay home and watch the "Puppy Bowl" on Animal Planet!

But... I did make chipotle BBQ meatballs and took them to the party.  They were a "touch down" as they were nearly gone by time I picked up the crock pot to go home.
