Hmmm... I'm thinking maybe we've seen this pair before?  A couple of years ago there was a pair very similar to this in Detroit, offered at an estate sale I believe.  Both Ken and I inquired about the pair, but I think Ken never heard from the seller.

I had that washer once, back in the day...... 1983ish, in coffee.  

 

I didn't have to do anything to it, if I recall correctly, and I paired it with a coffee color, 1966 Frigidaire dryer and sold them as a set.

I contacted this seller because I was interested in the washer but the sale got a little complicated and dodgy for my comfort; I may try to contact him again because I've wanted a 1968 model in the collection. Mostly I want that Straight-6 Black Activator. We'll see.
