The Tucson wash-in will be graced by the addition of four new machines; three of which are from the fifties, one of which is from about 1980.

I wonder what they are?

Ross mentioned one...

Hmm. :-D

Nate, I have met your wonderful Mom and I am sure that she taught you that it isn't nice to tease!!!! Terry

Mayyyyyyyybe...

Robert -- ;-)

Terry -- True, but I'm sure my mom would also indicate that a good girl leaves SOME things to the imagination ;-)

LOL, Austin--I'd love to hear your theory :-P

I think that's veil number five...

...and then the HIGH-VELOCITY stream of water flushes all that lint and scum away in the overflow rinse...

And then there's Nate's machine, destined to stand next to it's GM brother. (Frigidaire lovers, you may now take to your beds!)

...complete with patented Splash-a-lation agitation!

The agitator acts as a pump, and water is pulled down through the "cones" and pumped out by fins on the underside.

Does it work? Not really. But isn't it great?

Splashy!

Note the Westinghouse--not Franklin-ized--design. Metal tubs and porcelain top--WCI must have been asleep that day, because there was actual quality in this machine (to an extent :-) )...
