P&G is rolling out a new Tide "Simple Pleasures" liquid....

This one is "Magnolia and Orange Blossom".....

They sound a bit like Bold over here

Comes in:

Apple Blossom & Lime Zest
Ocean Clear
Lavender and Camomile
Crushed Silk and Jasmine.

Comfort:
Wild Pear and Ginkgo
Lily and Rice Flour
"Classic Comfort Blue"
Comfort Sun Fresh
Comfort Ylang Ylang
Comfort Pure
Comfort Creme (looks like chocolate drink!)
Comes in Jojoba Oil or Sweet Almond Oil.

Lenor (P&G conditioner)

Lenor is the same:

"in the pink" - Mango and Orange
"stay fresh" - With Fabreze Effect
"Sring Awakening" - Fresh flowers (man made classic lenor)
"Sleep Sensations" - Lavander and camomile
"Suymmer breeze" - 'golden flowers' (man made classic lenor)

I really like the Tide "Simple Pleasures" Vanilla & Lavender liquid. I wish they made it in HE formula. Also, in powder as well. My guess is we won't be seeing any new powder scents from P&G,Unilever,Phoenix brands etc...=(

I've lost count; is this 39 or 40 variations of Tide? As with Whirlpool's takeover of the American washing machine, soon there will be little room for any detergent other than Tide on store shelves. Granted, it's one of the best on store shelves, but I don't care for this encroaching lack of brand choice.

IIRC, there was already a version of Downy called "Magnolia and Orange Blossoms", so guess P&G is now releasing the matching detergent.

Have a bottle of Tide lavender and roses "Simple Pleasures" and the scent does tend to linger and rub off. In fact sheets washed with the stuff still have traces of the stuff several washings later. Even the washing machine's dispenser drawer tends to hold the scent for days after use. Had to wash the ironing table cover after ironing linens laundered in this version of Tide because the scent kept rubbing off on other items ironed afterwards. Now only use Tide "Simple Pleasures" on items that will not be ironed and or dried in the dryer which tends to take some of the whiff away.

It's Unilever's fault, LOL....

Seriously, what's with that company's roll-over-and-play-dead routine? It was better for the consumer when Wisk and Tide had a little healthy competition going on....with Fab's disappearance, Unilever certainly can't say they're being tag-teamed....

(Yeah, I confess....I'm liking the lavender Tide as well!!)

Maybe they should call it "Guilty Pleasures"??

And yet they discontinued, Tide Free HE again!!! (I have no choice -- I HAVE to use "free and clear" detergents; I also have to use coin operated Neptunes; since I can't monitor suds levels, I prefer to use an HE detergent.) Tide's website no longer makes reference to Tide Free HE. This is the second time the they've discontinued it. Grrr. I just bought the last four bottles at my local Target. (I've bought All Free HE at Target in the past, but they didn't have any on the shelves so I hope that hasn't been discontinued too!)

I don't think Unilever is rolling over. Check out the new "wrapper" for Wisk 3x. It has a Persil "splat" on it. Maybe Unilever is going to bring the Persil formulas Stateside for the Wish lineup? One can hope...

Nah, it's on the site....but that doesn't mean our stores carry it!!

JerseyMike, the one store I have seen (in Jersey, LOL!) are the KMart stores....as you might have noticed, they all seem to be finishing up "renovations", and the three stores I patronize regularly (Closter, Westwood, and Paramus) seem to still have it.

My friend's cousin has the same problem....she likes the Tide Free liquid, because it cleans better than the All Free and Clear, and far better than Purex Free and Clear (Wisk Free is very hard to find....)
