Recently I saw this at Walmart it’s new they just started selling it. I gave it a whiff and wow, it smells just like how Tide used to smell, it’s very reminiscent of the old liquid tide original smell, maybe not exactly like it but really similar. I bought some and I’ve done several loads and it works really well, just as good as Tide liquid as far as I’m concerned. And even better it’s so cheap. Highly recommend. This is some good stuff, which is a big surprise coming from Walmart.

In the last few years I’ve used their great value advanced dish pacs and those work just as well as cascade platinum but these don’t leave any flavor on dishes.

Aldi has a version called Tandil (green is gain) red is Tide... Blue is Purex. The blue version doesn't have enzymes. I got the gain version and I've been using it for a couple of months and really like it...I believe the 64 loads version was around $7.50 or something.

I just looked up the ingredients and this does in fact have enzymes (3 or 4 of them) which you RARELY see in bargain or store brands.

We just picked this up a few hours ago...

...and will be giving it a shot soon.

I'll say this. It smells nice. Definitely not like the liquid Tide of old, but it has a much more "premium" scent than a typical store brand. The Mrs. is eager to try it on some of her kitchen towels. We'll see what happens.

It's decent...

...definitely does not have the cleaning power of Tide, as one of my shirts still had a faint stain, but for a store brand, it cleaned well on everyday kitchen soils. It also left our towels with a pleasant fragrance. Certainly a solid performer, though, and far better than, say, Xtra/Purex/Sun.

Walmart Premium Clean

I did see this about 2 weeks ago. I also was impressed with scent. Very glad to hear some decent reviews. Though price difference was not as significant as I had expected. Maybe a dollar less for the 32 load bottle. I am interested to see how this goes head to head with name brand products! Thanks for the reviews!

We purchased the smallest bottle, which was about 25 loads for $4.00 and change. Considering that other "bargain brands" cost more, and clean worse, it was a decent value. Looking forward to CR test results on it.

Yes I will say that it doesn’t do as well on some stains at tide, but overall it’s a really good deal. It does smell a lot like how tide used to from years ago to me. Everything comes out of the dryer smelling beautiful and it does remove odors especially pet odors on my blankets.

WM here doesn't (yet?) have Premium Clean in-store, per an online search/check a minute ago.  It's available for shipping (not store pick-up), arrives "tomorrow" so presumably is at the distribution center/warehouse that's approx 45 mins distance, if they ship from there directly to customers?

It's definitely a Henkel product. With that being said, I thought Henkel was exiting the private-market laundry detergent sector? Have they done a reverse course?
