Survey Electric or Blade?

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

I was using Mach 3 and the battery Mach3 but the blades have become to expensive. I usually just buy a cheap bag of disposables at Dollar General.

TMI, hon!

Both genders agree: nothing sexier about a man than him shaving.

Disposable Blade at home on a traditional metal "stick", mirror in shower.
Plastic disposable one for travel and manscaping. (Read: twirl it right around in the nose. I swear it's quick, effective and painless) Gross, eh?
And tweezers for the ears. For G-d's sake gents, do the ears!
Electric one for in the car to shave after work when going out.

Since I am not single, this is not an option, but what could be more fun than having a friend manscape you?

Braun for me . . .

I started out in high school with blades, and then switched to a Norelco for awhile. In the early '90s I first grew a beard, and aside from having a goatee for a few months have been bearded since then. I use the Braun for shaving my neck and cheeks, and some trimming also. While I think the Norelco gives a closer shave, the trimmer is difficult to use precisely. My Braun has a trimmer that pops up rather than out, making it easier to see. I also have a haircut-type Wahl trimmer, but mostly use the Braun - I've probably been through three of them since I first grew the beard.

Electric!

I started using disposable razor for the first hair when i was 14, then, at around 16, when beard become something serious I got my first electric shaver a Philishave something 5500. I used it till I was 19 and after that I started trimming beard to 3-4 mm istead of shaving completely so I got myself a Philips Turbovac beard trimmer that is the best thing I've ever seen a quick charge in half an hour and a battery life of more than one hour shaving, plus it vacuums the hair in a small reservoir and the bathroom is never messy!

Vintage Electric

I bought my Norelco Tripleheader as a gift for my Grandfather in '79,I was 14, my Grandmother had already bought him one so I kept it,over the years I replaced the blades a couple times and the motor brushes once and a couple of cords, about a year ago it finally gave out and like Pete said the new ones seem flimsy, I found the exact same one as mine on e-bay, I'm trying to be carefull with the "new" one and not tap the head on the side to empty it. I do remember shaving with a disposable type razer in the mid 80's, my coming out time, went out most every night,I ironed too,had to have those creased shirts, I don't do that anymore either, that could explain why I'm single LOL. Manscaping

OH--you mean you trim the little fury guy?
Never done that--I was so happy when the hair grew back when I was a young teen that I never messed with it. (well the hair anyway)

Joke: If my dog had a face like yours, i'd shave its @$$ and teach it how to walk backwards.

Antyhing below the neck counts, really, for manscaping.

Lectric wet here

Been using a Panasonic wet/dry for about 7yrs. Its actually my 3rd one. Blade razors tend to cause irritation on my face. Still use a blade for getting close around mouth and nose.
I do agree with others that electric does not shave very close. I can get away with it being dark skined.

Manscaping? NOT with the electric! Live and learn...lol

I'm lucky to have a light beard, and I love my Remington Microscreen. The last time I bought one, I was surprised that I had to buy a rechargable one. Feels kind of silly standing in front of an electric outlet using a rechargable shaver every day.

Norelco

I also have used one for 40 years,My grandfather received one for Christmas in 62,never used it.So I used it for years. The trick is just keeping the blades clean.I still have that one in the linen closet, but gone thru several 3headers,and I use it to shave my head or rather the few left.

I can get away with it

OOOHHHHH

Lets see, LMAO! Im probably going to be one of those who will not grey til late in life. Not to mention i have a LOOOONNNGGG way before i get to that point. I guess i will have to color it to match but then the carpet wont match the drapes!

I use a Norelco. I use electric only because my face would be swollen and covered with hives from shaving cream.

Scott, don't be too sure about being far from having gray hair. I am 22 and have a fair amount of grays and there is a noticable amount of gray in my facial hair too, cant wait to go all gray.

I am also glad to know that there was someone other than myself who didn't know what manscaping was.

Gray?

I saw a Brazilian family of 4 boys/teems/young men, mother and dad on a domestic U.S flight

All three boys had gray hair, to varying degrees.

The were 10-ish, 15-ish and twenty-something.
