the first of the manson murderers to go to their heavenly reward!

if she had a life review at the moment of her death i sincerely hope it rewound and replayed a few times for the nite of august 9th. 1969!

i know it sounds nasty but i just can't forget the horror that she and her fellow killers brought on all those innocent people those nites! i was 14 that summer and remember it well, it definately shocked the nation!

funny, i just picked up the book "helter skelter" at a yard sale last week. read it when it first came out, intend to read it again this winter.

and we still have charlie out there to support and feed with our tax dollars!
 
I (had I been the judge) would have sentenced themall to be exicuted asap allowing anyone to be there to witness the exicution and place no covering over their heads.

I remember those murders real well also. It was amazing that such a thing could really happen. I resent as a tax payer having to pay for their upkeep. As bad as Manson is I blame the independent killers for their own actions. They made those decisions and should be punished accordenly. I also resent the fact they always come up for parole. I hope they spend another 40 years in jail.

I agree. Not to start a pointless debate on the issue, and I'm not trying to defend anyone, but the simple fact is our 14th Amendment was thrown right out the window with regard to Charles Manson. Has any American before or since served 30+ years in jail on murder conspiracy charges?
 
Suzan Atkins was one of Manson's girls. She killed Sharon Tate and her unborn infant.I forget how many times,but she stabbed them to death using their blood to write PIG on the wall.
 
A lot of folks came up missing during his reign of terror. I think it was last summer they were digging up the "Spahn ranch" again. I once read that Terry Melcher (Doris Day's) son and Candice Bergen were the previous tenets in the Tate house. iirc, Manson was in the house to see Melcher about recording a record, the jist of the article was that Manson may have thought Melcher was dismissive of him, and it was a revenge thing.( to select that first address). It was truly horrible.
 
I personally....

being a tax paying citizen, didn't mind footing the bill for her to stay where she belonged anyway, however, if I had any say in the matter, which I feel we should since our taxes pay for it, she should not have been allowed to get married, much less have conjugal visits. She should have been locked in a cell 23 hours a day with 1 hour to bathe and walk. But that's my personal opinion.
