It'll be a boon for RVs

It'll be a boom for RVers who don't have the room for a Splendide. What is the size of the unit anyway? I couldn't find any on their website.

Speaking of washers and rvs, I will never understand why anyone would want or even have a front l;oading washer on a moving vehical. If they were ment to be on them and useable, why do the manufacturers insist on using their shipping bolts to move them???!!! When I worked for Equator Corp., We'd get hundreds of service calls due to the washer's springs popping and drums going off center. If you're going camping, you need to use the environment you're in to wash your clothes not an automatic washer.

A very good point.

I'm sure they are put in 'cause they are washer/dryer combo units. And they are in large, higher end units, mostly for folks who live in their rigs for months on end.

Personally I'd rather use the commercial laundry, but not everyone feels that way.
