Might I say, if that range & the neighbors' across the street were side by side, next to each other you couldn't tell them apart!

Saw this same model Tappan stove minus the "60 gay warranty" at an estate sale yesterday. It still looked brand new. The house was owned/occupied by a nun for about 45 years so everything was well maintained and in like new condition.
Searched for a GOOD Tappan Thread to Post this Thought:
One of my daughter's two friends (they're sisters) have a fairly new, maybe LAST of the Tappan gas ranges, that the backguard tries to resemble the last good product of (though with the clock/timer in red LED's) & even says FOUR-HUNDRED next to the once revered, reliable & trusted brand name...
