That's the EXACT Tappan model I had in the house I built/moved into Fall 1984/March 1985. That I then moved out of after being transferred January 1986. [this post was last edited: 10/10/2022-00:45]

There is one

righ in my neighborhood in a kitchen of a house that just sold, and it's as immaculate. I like these! Very similar to the ones they built for GE.
Only minus is the small btu burners.

Tappan gas self cleaning range

These were fairly decent ranges, and the irony is that they’re far more energy efficient than any gas range you can buy today.

The oven was smaller and much better insulated than any oven you can buy today.

The top burners were more sensible as they’re only 10,000 BTUs and also use less gas than the oversize burners that are often used today.

Unfortunately there are no energy standards on gas or electric ranges today with regard to how much electricity or gas they use, I hope such standards come at some point in the near future.
