Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Paul, "Maid-ee" (as Eddie nicknamed her) was plucked from a house my friend's Mom bought in Verona NJ in 2002. It really was a "little old lady's house" and
Maid-ee was probably only used on Sunday's and holiday's. The house was built in 1910 but the kitchen was remodeled in the 60's and still had all matching GE coppertone appliances. My friends mom was going to update and build in a DW so the Mobile maid was mine for the asking. She then resided in the basement of my old house until 2007 where we kept all of our party dishes. I always looked forward to loading her up to first clean the dust off everything and then after parties to help with the clean up. She is kind of loud so don't plan on watching TV while she is running. After my ex and I split and sold our house, Maid-ee came with me to a house I was renting and I didn't need her anymore. Eddie and I started chatting and I offered her to him. Unfortunately, the day Eddie came to pick her up I had to put my beloved Samoyed Quigley down and never got the chance to meet him. Eddie has had her on The Cape since then and I'm sure has been a good steward of her care. I always thought she was sweet and small scale and easy to move around and I've always been a fan of Coppertone

Oh Jim...

I always have remembered that day.

First of all I had just joined AW.organd I made a post about a Mobile Maid.

You offered her to me for free and I jumped out of my skin.

I drove to NJ and back the same day. But I never understood why you were not going to be there to give me the machine or meet me.

Then the next day after I posted my first collectable, you wrote that you were putting your Dog down the same time I was picking up the machine.

That always left a void in my heart. My Dad is in Blairstown and I always drive by the Denville Exit.

I always felt since that day I've known you so we Have to Meet someday soon.

I have had 2 Goldens that I have had to put down, so I know somewhere we are on the same page.

I did not want to give up Maidee, but I'm tight on space and I will only let machines go to good owners that will take care or give them back someday.

We'll meet soon as I'm going to Dads soon and hope we can meet. Eddie

Just home from Brazil,

Boston is nothing more than a short hay-ride.

It was so freaky Sunday Night during "Homeland" when they showed the Vermont border crossing of a bad guy you and Phil had just passed through. My little hairs stood up. Hope y'all get to see it.

Great pics, so much color.

What in the name of the Holy B Jesus is that other item on the plate next to the bacon & eggs?
