Hi all,
I'm working on making my collection of machines in the garage working - however at the moment I have plumbing issues in the form of water supply. I tried to connect the fill hose from the back of the machine, to the garden hose with a garden hose pipe extension (as the only water supply outside hence accessible to the garage is the garden hose). However when I tried it out it didn't work - i.e. the connectors didnt fit as the thread was too short, right diameter though, and I had to fill the machine up manually with the hosepipe through the detergent dispenser, listening for when the fill valve stopped humming as to gauge the correct water level.
I was just wondering, if anybody else has a similar setup and has been able to get round plumbing, or more water supply issues, using a temporary water supply? Drainage isn't a problem - naughty I know but I've just been letting them drain out the garage door down the drive into the street drain - though I think this is acceptable for the occasional loads that I'll do in the garage with my collection.
Thanks in advance,
Jon
