Tesco stocking Henkel dishwasher tabs?

I notice Tesco's "classic" dishwasher tablets are made by Chemolux, a division of Henkel in Luxemburg.

Wonder if this could mean a switch over to Henkel laundry products too?

The tesco own brand detergents all seem to be McBride
Softeners either mcbride, or the new one (the large concentrated pure one) is Persan of Spain.

Seems to be some change, as until recently everything was McBride.

The Tesco classic dishwasher tablets are VERY GOOD! Getting outstanding results in a Bosch with them.
The individual tabs are branded Tesco 5-in-1

Wonder what they will be stocking here in the US?

Tesco is coming here in a big fashion. They've been very, very close mouthed about it all, so probaably nothing will be known for sure until the stores actually open. Evidently they are going to try to make it with smaller stores which emphasize convenience and quality products, rather than maximize store size and choice.

Tesco in the USA

It seems Tesco are going to roll out their Tesco Express format in the US. They're compact convenience stores, but stock quite a lot of stuff.

They've never really had much of a bite of the market in Ireland as there's already an extremely developed convenience store setup here.

i.e. in Ireland we've a network of Centra and Spar stores which typically have: range of groceries (including a wide range of ready-meals), wines & beer, full deli, in-store bakery - many of them even go as far as juice bars, in-store prepared high end take out meals.

In the UK, that niche seems to being filled by Tesco Express and Sainsbury's (another supermarket chain)

As the US convenience store market's fairly well built-up already, I'd say Tesco will have to try pretty hard to have much of an impact. They've had almost zero impact here with that format so far.

Centra and Spar (all franchises) have proved to be pretty tough competition.
